Chaperone Policy
You are very welcome to be accompanied by a trusted friend or relative at your consultation if you wish, and this is all the more important if English is not your first language, or if you feel you might not be able to express what you need clearly to the doctor or nurse.
Patients attending the Practice for an intimate examination can bring or request a chaperone. Please ask your GP if this can be arranged. In the unlikely event a chaperone is not available your appointment can be rearranged. We do not have a chaperone available at our Branch Surgery in Newton Ferrers or during late evening surgeries, but please feel free to bring a chaperone with you
