It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations. These vaccines may have to be ordered as they may not be held within our stock vaccines. Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.
There are a variety of forms which require a doctor's signature e.g. Passport application, private medical forms etc. The doctor will complete these for you but please allow at least three working days for completion and there may be a fee. A list of fees is available in the waiting room, from reception or on our website in the following links. Please note the Practice is registered for VAT and therefore some forms may be subject to VAT. The Practice accepts payment by Visa/Mastercard/Maestro debit and credit cards. There is a 50p charge for credit card payments.
If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.
