Local Support Groups

There are a number of local groups in the area providing non-medical support for you and your loved ones

 

Yealmpton & Brixton Community Volunteers

Provides befriending for those who are housebound or feel isolated and would like some companionship

Provides information about local activities and support groups

Provides a weekly coffee morning

Provides information and where possible help with transport so that everyone can join in 

NEW ‘Time for You’ is a pilot run by Devon Carers and funded by Devon County Council.  Specifically aimed at Carers to help provide lower cost sitting services.

Men's Shed

Come along to Yealmpton’s very own Men’s Shed. Pop along, have a cup of tea, meet those involved and find out more. We have lots of projects ongoing and we need more members!

The Grimaud Room (under the Parish Room), Bakery Square, Yealmpton. You can’t miss the sign! You don’t need to live in Yealmpton, neighbouring parishes also welcome!
