Digital Inclusion Resources

In the surgery, we use a range of digital tools to help our patients.

We know some people won’t feel comfortable using digital technology.

This can be because they don’t have the skills and knowledge to do so, or they may not feel safe going online.

Some people won’t have access to a computer or smartphone, and some won’t have broadband or mobile data needed to get online.

There is support available to help.

We know that these changes can be overwhelming and we want to help you with this transition to online triage and consultations. Please let us know if you need assistance or are struggling.

Below is a list of just some of the organisations providing support and training with digital skills.

We can also refer you to our Social Prescriber who can help you get support with specific needs or issues.

Please let us know if you have specific communication or access needs:

  • You do not have a smartphone or computer
  • You cannot use the internet, websites or email
  • You struggle to hear on the phone
  • You need an interpreter
  • You struggle to read or write
  • You need written text in braille, large font or easy-read format

All the services listed on the below are free and open to the community. Please feel free to share with anyone you know who may not have online accces, we also have paper pamphlets available at the surgery.
